2019 – 2029
The Madre Tierra project aims to improve soil health, water-use efficiency, and the economic resilience of producers through technical support, digitalization, and connection to responsible markets—driven by Danone as the project’s anchor buyer and impact investor.
Its goal is to build a network of farmers who adopt regenerative practices to produce sustainably, profitably, and with a long-term vision.
WORK AREAS
Hands-on field training to improve soil, water, and biodiversity management, tailored to each producer’s specific conditions.
Implementation of the Madre Tierra app to record agricultural practices, water use, and application of fertilizers and pesticides.
Practical, accessible workshops that strengthen producers’ technical autonomy and their ability to innovate in the field.
Integration of producers into formal markets through partnerships with agro-processors and Danone, buyers committed to sustainability.
Continuous evaluation of impacts on soil, water, and productivity through the adoption of regenerative practices.
