Digital Origins was created to strengthen small-scale producers through technology, training, and commercial support, building more direct, fair, and sustainable pathways to market. Today, 40 organizations and 10 rural youth are participating in a process that combines digital capacity-building, the use of AI tools, digital content, and the creation of networks like Colmena Culinaria, which directly connect production with consumers. Our purpose is to improve the living conditions of producer communities by advancing more inclusive, transparent, and resilient commercial models.

WORK AREAS

We train rural producers in digital strategies to strengthen their businesses and increase their sales. We also train young people from producer organizations in digital marketing, equipping them with the technological tools needed to maximize their impact in their communities and support generational renewal. The program includes a digital platform where organizations can watch videos and download content on topics such as marketing, sales, and design.

We provide digital tools from Agrojusto to optimize sales, traceability, and market positioning. We ensure that knowledge turns into action by equipping organizations with functional digital infrastructure. Each organization implemented an average of more than four key digital tools during the program (such as online stores, CRMs, and Meta-driven campaigns). We also incorporate the use of artificial intelligence to accelerate transformation.

We enable transparent negotiations between producers and buyers, building urban networks aligned with rural producers’ values. For example, we support Colmena Culinaria, an initiative that informs potential consumers in key sectors about the attributes and quality of sustainably produced goods.
