The Sustainable Productive Projects Support Program is an initiative led by Fomento Social Banamex, in partnership with Nuup and UNDP Mexico, that seeks to strengthen organizations within the social and solidarity economy in rural areas through financing, technical support, and capacity building.
Since 2020, the program has supported productive projects with high social, economic, and environmental impact, promoting productive inclusion, community resilience, and long-term sustainability.
WORK AREAS
Grant funding for rural organizations at early, acceleration, and consolidation stages to strengthen infrastructure, working capital, and productive processes.
Implementation of a Virtual Support Desk and personalized advisory services to strengthen administrative, financial, and management capacities.
Development of the Community of Practice and Learning (La ComPa) in Social and Solidarity Economies, including training modules, mentoring, and peer-learning spaces.
Identification and systematization of best practices, evaluation of results, and generation of lessons learned to improve and scale the program’s impact.
