2022 – present
Within the Regenerate Mexico program, we have developed a comprehensive working model to promote the sustainable use of water in agriculture while driving the transition toward regenerative practices. This approach seeks to strengthen the resilience of farmers and vulnerable rural communities facing climate change, while generating lasting social, economic, and environmental benefits.
In addition, the program fosters multi-sector collaboration among companies, organizations, government institutions, suppliers, and producers, with the goal of implementing and scaling solutions that contribute to watershed replenishment and the restoration of agricultural ecosystems in Mexico.
WORK AREAS
Technical assistance and guidance to improve irrigation efficiency and strengthen existing hydro-agricultural infrastructure for small-scale producers.
Implementation of regenerative farming practices aimed at protecting natural resources, increasing productivity, and strengthening climate resilience.
Individual and group training sessions to raise awareness of climate change impacts and build skills in agricultural practices that support adaptation and mitigation.
Incentives and/or productive investments in plots that encourage and sustain the long-term adoption of improved agricultural practices.
